Gavin Preston: Breakthrough in the brazen cafe shooting of Melbourne gangland figure as 22-year-old is arrested

Police have arrested a 22-year-old man as they investigate the shooting of Melbourne gangster identity Gavin ‘Capable’ Preston.

Preston, 50, was shot on Saturday, September 9, while having breakfast with a friend at a cafe in Keilor, in Melbourne’s northwest.

Victoria Police raided two properties in the city’s south-west around 6am on Wednesday morning.
