Gary Numan’s wife, Gemma O’Neill, was rushed to hospital after her “heart went wild” during a getaway to Scotland.
Gary Numan has revealed that his wife was rushed to hospital on Monday after her “heart went crazy”.
The 1980s pop star, 65, was staying in Scotland with his partner Gemma O’Neill, 55, when he suffered a medical emergency.
Taking to Twitter on Tuesday, he shared a photo of Gemma, a former member of his fan club, in the snow.
He wrote: ‘I had to call an ambulance for Gemma yesterday because her heart went crazy again. I spent the night at A&E near Stirling, Scotland, having various tests done.
‘I don’t have a picture but she was wearing this outfit, shark jumpsuit and moon boots (no jacket) and nothing else! Discreet as always.

It is not the first time that Gemma has suffered a health problem during her vacation.
In 2020, the couple -who married in 1997- she recalled the time her breasts ‘exploded’ during a camping trip.
The couple regaled the hosts of Good Morning Britain with the story during an appearance on the show, speaking from their home in the United States.
‘We were on a caravan trip and they took the stitches out, I turned to the kids and it snapped!
“It looked like a shark attack and Gary had to take it!”
Gemma spoke candidly about her body image and how she’s always wanted to make changes to it.
I hate how I look, always did. They were sucking the fat out of me when I was 22,’ she admitted.
Gary also talked about his own experience with cosmetic procedures.

Update: On Twitter Tuesday, he wrote: “Had to call an ambulance for Gemma yesterday because her heart went crazy again.”
‘I haven’t had much, I’ve had my hair done, but it’s Gemma who’s wearing [stuff done]’ he said, before adding: ‘Do you know what he was doing while we were waiting [to go on air]?
‘I was taking pictures of her nose because that’s what’s next!’
Gemma was famous for being a fan of the singer before they finally met and fell in love.
‘I was just a normal fan. My dad works at a record company. I met [Gary] when I was younger, when I was maybe 12, and then we would meet at air shows and take pictures together.
“Then when my mother died in ’92, that’s when we started to speak properly.”
Gary said: “Normally I would see her at every concert and I asked her where she’d been and she said something had happened to her mum, so we got talking and it was more than ‘can I have your autograph?’ ‘
Gemma told her teachers that it didn’t matter if she passed any exam because the path of her life, hand in hand with her pop idol, a regular on Top Of The Pops, was already set. She wrote to Jim’ll Fix It asking if she could fix her wedding.
They have three daughters, Raven, Persia and Echo, who left Britain in 2012 and now live in Los Angeles, in a house built in the 1990s but modeled after a medieval castle.
