The Rest Is Football podcast has become hugely popular among football fans, with Gary Lineker, Micah Richards and Alan Shearer providing some fascinating insights.
However, the recording of the latest edition of the podcast did not go entirely according to plan.
Lineker and Richards attempted to record the podcast, but were interrupted by none other than Thomas Frank and David Moyes.
Brentford boss Frank and ex-West Ham manager Moyes are part of the BBC’s expert team for Euro 2024 and they couldn’t resist interrupting the recording.
On one occasion, Moyes noticed that his wine glass was empty and asked for a refill, later saying: “There’s slow service here.”

Frank added, “You should record here,” and said, “It’s a lot more fun now.”
The Dane also said: ‘We listen to all your ‘b******’, which didn’t exactly please Richards.
During BBC coverage of England’s 1-1 draw against Denmark, Lineker stated that manager Gareth Southgate should demand more from Harry Kane.
Although he managed to get on the scoresheet, he endured a frustrating time overall as he did not see much of the ball, which was also the case during England’s 1–0 win against Serbia in their opening match.
Lineker said on BBC Sport: ‘As a striker you have two jobs: scoring goals, which Harry Kane has been good at throughout his career, and creating space. He wants his manager to come to him and ask a little more of him. I would have expected that if I had achieved such performances.
‘Against a back three he has to stretch the play, run one way and then come up short so you don’t have to get too far to receive it. He needs to make more space for the midfielders behind him to create chances.’

Lineker claimed Kane ‘needs to do a lot better’ in regards to his all-round game.
‘Honestly, Harry Kane needs to do a lot better. His movement was minimal. He wasn’t looking at falling behind and that doesn’t happen often, but even if he comes up short, he comes up very lethargic, he’s floundering too short and that’s not going to help.’
