Gareth Bale shows off his incredible golf skills at the Pebble Beach Pro-Am by nearly holed out on the CART PATH, after Jon Rahm was wowed by his game… while Bills quarterback Josh Allen , had a great start in his group.

Gareth Bale impressed with his golf skills during the first round of the Pebble Beach Pro-Am in California.

Facing a shot out of the greenside cart path, Bale pulled out his wedge to try and land the ball softly near the cup.

He bounced the ball off the edge of the pavement, sending the ball flying over most of the uneven ground.

Fortunately for the former Wales international footballer, the ball came to rest at the neck of the green and then rolled smoothly and settled for a short putt.

Meanwhile, fellow NFL athlete and quarterback Josh Allen started his day off with a bang with his group playing at nearby Spyglass Hill field.

Bale bounced the ball off the edge, sending the ball flying over the rough and onto the green.

Allen surprised NFL fans by attending this event, just days after saying he would skip Pro Bowl Games.

The quarterback said he would not attend the festivities in Las Vegas because of an elbow injury.

Bale recently announced his retirement from professional football, just months after leading Wales to their first World Cup since 1958.

Last week, Bale participated in another Pro-Am just before the start of the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines in San Diego.

His play drew praise from Spanish golfer Jon Rahm, who said it “doesn’t seem fair” that Bale is “so good at soccer and golf.”

Bale’s love of golf is well known and he is said to have a three-hole golf course at his home, but the fans had been a controversial topic during his football career.

He was a source of scorn in particular during his time at Real Madrid, where he won five Champions League titles.

He posed, while on international duty with Wales, with a banner reading: ‘Wales. Golf. Madrid. In that order’, a move that caused a violent reaction among the club’s supporters.

Allen surprised many NFL fans by turning down the Pro Bowl to play in this year’s golf tournament.
