A young Australian has revealed how he resold three of 'the rarest DVDs in existence' for a profit of $250.

Bejay, who goes by the online nickname Aussie Thrifter, is known for posting second-hand collectibles on eBay and shares what he's looking for on TikTok.

At a garage sale he managed to find seasons three, four and five of the 1990s Australian television comedy series Full Frontal, which sold on eBay within a week.

“The people at this garage sale had no idea the value of this rare DVD and I'm about to make a lot of money,” the clip says sadly.

'This is one of the rarest DVDs out there and if you can find all five series you've hit the jackpot.'

He bought the DVDs for just $1 each, along with other “rare” DVDs including Mother & Son and Fantastic Voyage.

Bejay has previously bought DVDs, toys, mugs, shoes, board games, playing cards, landline phones and even Bibles to sell for a higher price.

The TikTok video caught the attention of thousands of people, with some feeling sorry for the original DVD owners.

“The poor sellers were probably having a hard time,” one person wrote.

“How do you find out about local garage sales?” another asked, and Bejay said he was reading the newspaper.

Previously, Bejay struck gold after finding a bundle of Nintendo Wii U games for just $2 at his local St. Vincent de Paul store.

'Today I had one of the most insane finds, you wouldn't believe it. It ended up on the DVD (section) as usual, but today look what was there,” he said in a TikTok video and picked up the games.

“Paper Mario alone is an $80-$90 game and the others are just over $100. That's $200 in value on a $2 purchase.”

Within a week of putting the items online, he sold the Paper Mario Color Splash game for $90 and hopes to sell the remaining games.

The Nintendo Wii U was launched in 2012 as a companion to the original Wii console, but ceased production in 2017.

Bejay started sharing his flipping adventures on social media last year and has since gained more than 10,000 TikTok followers under the username Aussie Thrifter.
