The gaming industry’s biggest convention is back. This week, Gamescom 2024 kicks off in Germany with an Opening Night Live showcase, followed by five days of demos and events on the show floor. In 2023, Gamescom announced that it would 320,000 visitorsa jump of 21% compared to the 2022 figures. That is more than four times what E3 got at its peak — and granted, Gamescom is a public show, and the world has changed a lot since 2005. But with crowds like that, it’s a safe bet that we’ll see some exciting stuff. We’ll have coverage all week.
