The Game4Ukraine match between Team Shevchenko and Team Zinchenko ended in a 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge.

Arsenal’s Oleksandr Zinchenko and legendary striker Andriy Shevchenko led the two teams for the game designed to raise money for a school in Ukraine amid the ongoing war with Russia.

Former and current players such as Mykhailo Mudryk, Gerard Pique and Chelsea’s Fabio Cannavaro all performed alongside some celebrities.

After a flurry of chances for both sides, it was Zinchenko’s side, managed by Arsene Wenger, who took the lead within 38 minutes.

Robert Pires played the ball wide to former Arsenal teammate Gilberto Silva, who delivered a low cross into the box for Mark Noble to finish.

However, their lead did not last long. Former AC Milan midfielder went past Pires on the edge of the penalty area and found the corner with an unstoppable shot four minutes before the break.

During an extended halftime break, Ukrainian band Boombox, Pete Doherty and Tom Walker all took the stage to perform.

Team Zinchenko took the lead again after 54 minutes. Jack Wilshere delivered a low cross into the box for former Shakhtar Donetsk defender Darijo Srna to slide into the bottom corner.

Team Shevchenko leveled the score after 77 minutes. Jermaine Defoe delivered a low cross from a tight angle on the left. The ball passed a number of players, but eventually found William Gallas who slammed the ball in from close range.

In the end, the two sides could not be separated and shared a trophy.
