Gamblers misfire badly on NFL’s Wild Card playoff opener between Texans and Chargers

Saturday’s postseason opener between the Houston Texans and Los Angeles Chargers was FanDuel’s most lopsided bet for the Wild Card round of the NFL playoffs.

According to the sportsbook, bettors placed more than ten times as many bets on the Chargers against the spread, which favored Los Angeles by three points.

And on the moneyline, 66 percent of the total bets and 62 percent of the total stakes were wagered on the Chargers.

Unfortunately, DeMeco Ryans’ team pulled off a masterpiece, forcing Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert into three interceptions on defense while quarterback C.J. Stroud engineered a pair of touchdown drives on offense.
