Gal Gadot gives BIRTH! Wonder Woman star, 38, welcomes a baby girl after secret pregnancy that ‘was not easy’ – as she reveals poignant meaning behind name

Gal Gadot has announced the arrival of her fourth child after keeping the pregnancy a secret from the spotlight.

The Wonder Woman actress shared the big news with fans on Instagram, posting a photo of her cuddling her newborn and the meaning behind her child’s name, Ori.

‘My dear girl, welcome. The pregnancy wasn’t easy and we got through it. You have brought so much light into our lives and live up to your name, Ori, which means “my light” in Hebrew. Our hearts are full of gratitude,” she captioned the post.

‘Welcome to the girls’ house. Dad is pretty cool too,” she added. Her husband, Jaron Varsano, was tagged in the photo.

Ori is Gal and her husband’s fourth child together. The couple also share daughters Alma, 12, Maya, six, and Daniella, two.

The news of the birth surprised fans as Gal never announced she was pregnant.

In 2022, Gadot opened up about giving birth and described always wanting to be a “young mother” during an interview with In style.

‘I started young. I was 25 when I was pregnant with Alma. I always wanted to be a young mother. Yes, three children. No joke, woman. God bless them, but it’s so much work,” she told the outlet.

She also raved about the “magic” of childbirth: “If I could, I would do it once a week.” It’s so magical.’

“And honestly, I always take epidurals, so it’s not that painful. Just the moment you feel like you’re creating life is incredible. But the pregnancies are difficult for me: I feel sick and have migraines. I’m out of my element.’

Gal believes the worst thing she does is “juggling between my family life and my acting career.”

‘When you’re on set, you’re like a kite. You can fly so high and try to catch the sky,” Gadot described.

‘Then you go home again to do your main duty as a mother. It’s not about me, it’s about, “Okay, now I have to give Maya a bath, feed Alma, and put Daniella to bed.”

She also praised her husband Jaron, whom she married in 2008.

‘We have grown together. I know he’s not with me because I’m a “movie star.” He is with me because he loves me,” she explained.

‘The connection was there from the beginning before anything else, so it always felt very real and very good. I’m super grateful that I got to meet him when I was twenty. I was still a baby.’
