Gabrielle Union stunned Friday in a vibrant coat adorned with multicolored polka dots as she arrived to speak at a Q&A in Manhattan for her latest film, The Inspection.
The 49-year-old actress was joined at the event by her dashing co-star Jeremy Pope, 30, and famed producer Effie Brown, 50.
Dazzling onlookers as she made her way to the event, Union stole the show in her multicolored Christopher John Rogers coat.

She paired the statement piece with a long white shirt and cream cargo pants.
The A-lister’s hair was up in a bun and Khiry earrings accentuated her face.
After wearing blush-colored stiletto sandals as she walked in, the star changed into a Paris Texas-branded neon green pair before taking the stage.
Both Pope and Brown made their own fashion statements when they came in to join Union.

Effie arrived in a dress decorated with an eccentric pattern and shades of purple. The Project Greenlight star’s bright red lipstick matched her crimson hair, while a forest green coat kept the fall air at bay.
Jeremy Pope – best known for his Tony-nominated performances on Broadway – arrived immaculately dressed in leather from head to toe.
The star’s brown leather pants, shirt and jacket were offset by black leather boots, adding to his already magnetic presence as he entered.
Directed by Elegance Bratton, 43, and based on the filmmaker’s own experience as a gay man in basic training for the Marine Corps, The Inspection tells the dramatic story of a young Marine dealing with both abuse and desire.
Pope plays the young gay marine in the film, while Union plays the mother who rejected him.
According to the New York Film Festival’s websiteThe Inspection is “a nuanced portrait of American masculinity and military evocation during the Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell era, as well as a powerful, electric work of autobiography.”
The film is already getting great reviews, especially praising Union’s performance.
“I was an entertainer,” she said Vanity Fair when discussing the role and how it changed her career. “Now I’m an actor.”
Critics have called Union’s performance a “career best” and many have flagged her as a potential Oscar nominee for Best Supporting Actress.
