Gabriel Martinelli begins to celebrate BEFORE scoring as the winger scores Arsenal’s fourth goal from the bench as the Gunners come from behind twice to beat Aston Villa.

Gabriel Martinelli spread his arms in celebration before scoring against Aston Villa on Saturday when the winger scored Arsenal’s fourth goal.

The Gunners won a thrilling game 4-2 after goals despite twice trailing in the game, and have now returned to the top of the Premier League.

It wasn’t Arsenal’s best performance, trailing twice after goals from Ollie Watkins and an excellent TA goal finished off by Phillipe Coutinho, but they found themselves level after an hour thanks to goals from Bukayo Saka and Oleksandr Zinchenko.

They then took the lead for the first time with a bizarre own goal in stoppage time, when Jorginho’s thunderous shot from outside the box smashed off the crossbar and rebounded off Emiliano Martínez in the Villa goal.

Martinelli added another after the home side pushed everyone for a final attack as he ran towards goal unopposed and was able to celebrate before scoring.

The Brazilian international’s goal came from the bench after he was brought down to Leando Trossard.

Despite a difficult performance, the Gunners’ victory on Saturday will do them a lot of good as they look to win their first Premier League title since 2004.

A defeat today would have given City the chance to extend a three-point lead when they face Nottingham Forest, but now Pep Guardiola’s side can only draw and Arsenal will have one game to play.
