American Sprinter Gabby Thomas has returned to racist trolls who attacked her and accused her of faking a diploma she obtained from Harvard University.

On Saturday evening, a random troll on X, formerly Twitter, noticed that Thomas does not sound like she’s the brightest there is. ‘

Thomas quoted that message with the text: ‘You are probably right [shrug emoji] [laughing emoji] Damn my Harvard degree. ‘

That brought racist trolls out of the woodwork and Thomas was soon flooded with derogatory comments.

She spoke to those extra attacks in a follow-up post the next day: ‘Today, on January 26, 2025, there are hundreds of people who comment on my Twitter page who is specific because I am black, they have to accept in Harvard I have my diploma Also not achieved. Is this real life ?? ‘

Thomas received some support from Alexis Ohanian – the founder of Reddit and the husband of tennis icon Serena Williams – who said those contemptuous hair, “clowns, no people.”

Thomas obtained her Harvard diploma in 2019 in Neuroscience. According to the school, she also helped in global health and health policy.

She then obtained a master’s degree in public health with a focus in epidemiology from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston.

Thomas participated in two Olympic Games in her running career – the Tokyo games in 2021 and last year’s Paris matches.
