Gabby Logan is forced to apologise just minutes into Amazon Prime’s coverage of Arsenal vs PSG due to major blunder

Amazon Prime Video presenter Gabby Logan was forced to apologize just minutes after the broadcaster’s coverage of the Champions League match between Arsenal and PSG.

Mikel Arteta’s men host the French team in the Emirates at 8pm tonight but Arsenal fans were left confused after a major blunder from Amazon.

The streaming platform scheduled their coverage for 6:30 p.m., but when the time came, there was no sign of the program starting.

For the next half hour, fans tuning into the game were greeted by a blank screen, and it wasn’t until 7 p.m. that coverage finally began.

Gabby Logan was aware of the big mistake and quickly apologized to viewers live.

Amazon Prime Video presenter Gabby Logan was forced to apologize just minutes after the platform’s coverage of Arsenal versus PSG in the Champions League

The apology came after the streaming platform suffered a major error during the pregame build-up

Coverage was scheduled to start at 6:30 PM ahead of the 8:00 PM kick-off, but fans were greeted with a blank screen for half an hour before coverage actually started

When coverage finally started at 7 p.m., Logan quickly responded to the error and apologized sincerely.

Standing on the pitch alongside Frank Lampard, Clarence Seedorf and Daniel Sturridge, Logan turned to the camera to apologize seconds into the show.

She said: ‘welcome to the Emirates, apologies for being on air a little later than we hoped, but we’re here now’.

However, fans watching from home weren’t very happy with the slight delay.

One fan said on social media: ‘Who watches on #AmazonPrimeVideo #Arsenal #PSG says watch from 6:30 and don’t work,’ followed by a sad face emoji.

While another commented: ‘Arsenal/PSG on Amazon prime not going well, says live from 6.30pm’.

A third added: ‘I can’t choose the watch option.’

However, others defended the streaming platform and gave possible reasons for the delay.
