The Countess of Wessex donned her best camouflage to attend an annual competition at Gibraltar Barracks, Blackwater in Camberley this morning.

Sophie, 58, has honorary military appointments in the regiments and organizations that compete against each other in a series of challenges each year.

Sophie has a number of honorary titles, including Royal Honorary of the Colonel 5th Battalion The Rifles (5 Rifles), Colonel-in-Chief of the Army Music Corps, Colonel-in-Chief of Queen Alexandra’s Royal Army Nursing Corps and Colonel- Commander of the Lincoln and Welland Regiment.

Today, the mother-of-two donned a practical look to meet the soldiers before the event.

The mother-of-two headed to the shooting range with the rest of the soldiers, where she showed off her skeet shooting skills.

The Countess of Wessex and the team were aiming for a tossed plate for the sake of the challenge.

But she still exuded natural elegance with a few well-chosen accessories and natural makeup.

Sophie dressed for the occasion in a camouflage parka, which she layered over a pair of khaki skinny jeans and brown boots.

She paired it with a navy blue scarf tucked under the color of her jacket, which stood out just to add a pop of color to the look.

The mother-of-two added a touch of refinement with a pair of tiny gold earrings.

Her hair was swept back in an updo that was both practical and flattering, while she sported healthy, simple, and efficient makeup.

She highlighted her eyes with some shimmery eyeshadow and mascara, and added definition to her cheeks with a rosy blush that accentuated her natural complexion.

A hint of pink on her lips added a bit of femininity to her outfit.

The mother-of-two seemed delighted to be taking part in the day full of sporting competitions in Camberley.
