G Flip smashes records and becomes highest placing non-binary artist in Triple J Hottest 100 history

G Flip has broken multiple records on the 2023 Triple J Hottest chart.

The pop star, whose real name is Georgia Flipo, became the highest-ranking non-binary artist in the history of the countdown.

The 30-year-old also broke the record for most entries on a single Hottest 100 chart with a total of seven songs.

Those songs included The Worst Person Alive, which debuted at the coveted number two position.

Be Your Man ranks 22nd, Good Enough 24th and Rough 26th.

Further down the chart, G Flip also had their singles Australia at 50, Real Life at 65 and rounded out the chart with 7 Days at 80.

All singles came from G Flip’s 2023 album Drummer.

The new record destroys long-time holders Wolfmother, who set the record in 2005 with songs from their Joker and the Thief album.

G Flip has a whopping 19 total entries on multiple Hottest 100 charts, putting them ahead of Spacey Jane and Billie Eilish.

This incredible feat places the singer third among the all-time highest entries on the countdown.
