One female suspect was seen wearing an American flag tank top and has several distinctive tattoos on her arms, chest and face.

The other had a short blonde haircut and wore a black top with blue shorts.

Local residents are shocked and angry about what happened.

“It’s just bad. And karma is real – God doesn’t like ugly,” Nene, who is also a mother of a four-year-old girl, told Boston25 News.

“It’s sad because it could be their father and I’m sure they wouldn’t want something like that to happen to their father,” she added.

“It’s horrible. It’s clear that no one ever deserves that. I hope whoever sees them goes to the police because we need to catch them,” said Tariq Sobhi of the Boston suburb of Quincy.

This opinion was shared by other travelers on the T subway in Boston.

“It’s horrible. Nobody deserves that, of course. I hope whoever sees them goes to the police, because we have to catch them,” said Tariq Sobhi, of the Boston suburb of Quincy.

“Certainly, there are always precautions, but it shouldn’t be that way. It’s a safe city and we should all feel safe in our city, so I hope they get caught and justice is done,” he said.
