Fury as three-year-old boy walks home from preschool ALONE as ‘completely heartbroken’ mom demands answers

A three-year-old boy walked home alone from his preschool in Washington and walked more than 100 yards after his teacher lost sight of him.

Ana Maldonado, the child’s “heartbroken” mother, was furious that her son was able to leave Tukwila Elementary School so easily two weeks ago.

She is now demanding answers from the teachers and administrators whose safety measures have failed so horribly.

‘[It’s] terrible, because if he hadn’t come home, I wouldn’t even know he was walking on the street.’

Little Giovanni, three years old, walked away from his bilingual kindergarten class after going outside to get something.

According to Maldonado, the teacher was not looking for her son because she was concerned about the teacher-student relationship.

“I was heartbroken when she said that,” Maldonado said. “I was like, ‘There’s no way you’d be chasing a three-year-old.”

After leaving school, Giovanni traveled home alone, covering more than 100 meters.

When he showed up at the front door during the school day, his mother was stunned.

Maldonado panicked and called the school district for clarity.

‘I was in shock. I didn’t know what to do or say.’

School officials informed Maldonado that the alarm that prevented children from leaving campus was not working.

The mother said this response “completely broke her heart.”

‘I trust you. “I leave you my children,” she said.
