Nikola Jokic was ejected from the Nuggets' game against the Bulls on Tuesday night, angering even the Chicago fans who came to watch him at Serbian Heritage Night.
It appeared the two-time NBA MVP felt like he was being fouled when he missed a reverse layup with 1:12 to go in the second quarter.
Jokic then said something toward a referee as he walked back off the field.
The 2-meter-long center was promptly whistled for a technical ball and thrown out by official Mousa Dagher. He seemed confused by the order before leaving the field.
Jokic finished with four points, nine rebounds and six assists.

Tuesday night's game is Denver's only scheduled visit to the United Center this season, and the crowd appeared to express its displeasure with the decision to kick Jokic out.
It was a tough blow for a short-handed Denver team coming off a 129-122 victory in Atlanta on Monday night.
Jamal Murray, who had 29 points and nine rebounds in that win, was held off due to ankle issues.
