Furious Angel Reese appears to tell Kim Mulkey ‘get me the f****ng ball’ after bemoaning LSU teammates for ‘taking dumb shots’ against Iowa… before fouling out in 94-87 defeat to Caitlin Clark and Co

Angel Reese appeared to be angry at LSU coach Kim Mulkey for “throwing me the f*****g ball” during her team’s 94-87 loss to Iowa in the Elite Eight on Monday night.

Reese’s outburst came near the end of the first half, with the score tied at 41-41.

She finished the game with 17 points, but took 21 shots to get there, fouling out with 1:45 left in the game.

The center may have been hampered by an ankle injury as she went down in the first half and limped off the field before returning to the game.

At another point in the game, Reese appeared to tell her teammates to “stop taking stupid shots” during a timeout.

LSU shot just 38.6 percent from the field as the Hawkeyes avenged their national championship loss on them last year.

Meanwhile, Iowa’s offense thrived as Caitlin Clark scored a career-high 41 points, along with 12 assists and five rebounds.

After the match, Reese’s teammate Flau’Jae Johnson told reporters “You guys don’t know Angel,” while Reese himself said, “I’ve been attacked so many times.”

For Reese, this could be the end of her college career, as the 21-year-old participated in LSU’s Senior Night and previously spoke about her ambition to play in the WNBA.

Iowa, meanwhile, will face the winner of USC-UConn in the Final Four.

After the game, Clark said, “This one (making the Final Four) probably feels a little better. It’s my last year with this group.’

‘Many people blamed us at the beginning of this year for the people we lost. And all we did was work really hard. It’s really hard to come back here. This region was packed with talent. The job is not finished yet.’

“We really knew it was defensive. We knew we could perform well on offense,” added Clark, who was named the region’s Most Outstanding Player.

‘We have been good on offense all year. I think it was just stopping and being physical. They rebounded the ball very well, but we weathered every storm. You have to give them a lot of credit. They’ve had a great year.’
