Furious Americans slam Hollywood’s ‘out of touch and snobby’ liberal elite after first Alec Baldwin then Sharon Stone brand millions ‘ignorant and uneducated’ for voting in Trump
Furious Americans have outraged Hollywood’s liberal elite after Alec Baldwin and Sharon Stone branded millions of people as “uneducated” for voting for Donald Trump.
Baldwin and Stone’s comments were met with angry reactions from their compatriots, who took to X to call the Hollywood stars “elitist snob losers.”
One user shared a poster he said applied to Stone, saying: “Your only job is to entertain us. To lead us away from reality. Your personal opinion means nothing to us. […] Singing. Action. Quiet.’
“As we celebrate Thanksgiving, maybe it’s time for Hollywood to show some gratitude to the people who paid for the lifestyle they live,” someone else wrote, while a third added that the “uneducated” comment was “arrogant” .
The criticism comes after Baldwin, 66, claimed that Americans were “uninformed” when they appeared at the 42nd Torino Film Festival in Turin, Italy, on Monday, where he also stated during a press conference that Americans “know little or nothing” about world issues.
“There is a gap, a vacuum… a gap in information for Americans,” he said in a clip shared by The Hollywood Reporter on , Ukraine, you name it.”
Shortly afterwards, Sharon Stone unleashed her own tirade at the same festival, calling American voters “ignorant.” Stone added that her fellow Americans elected Trump because they are “uneducated” and don’t travel enough.
‘My country is in the middle of adolescence. Adolescence is very arrogant. Adolescence thinks it knows everything. Adolescence is naive, ignorant and arrogant. And we are in our ignorant, arrogant adolescence,” the Basic Instinct actress said.

Actress Sharon Stone (center) railed against “arrogant adolescent” America during a long-winded rant in which she called American voters “uneducated” and “ignorant”
Baldwin and Stone’s rants about ‘uneducated’ Americans sparked outrage, with social media users slamming the actor and actress for being ‘elitist’ and ‘out of touch’
‘We have never seen this before in our country. “So Americans who don’t travel, who 80 percent don’t have passports and who are uneducated, are in their extraordinary naivety,” she added.
As the two actors were called elitist for their rants, others referred to them as being out of touch.

‘You can’t write a better script for a Hollywood celebrity than this. Hilarious,” another commented on Stone’s comments.
‘I don’t think she heard it yet. We don’t give a damn about Hollywood anymore, especially when it’s been irrelevant,” a third added.
Their attitude was “exactly why Americans voted for Trump – he stood up for ordinary people who were being ignored by these self-proclaimed experts,” said another.
Stone’s comments come after the millionaire actress vowed earlier this year that she would leave America for a new life in Europe if Trump won the election, like many other Hollywood stars such as Eva Longoria and America Ferrera.
She said in July that she is considering buying a house in Italy if Trump is re-elected: “I am definitely considering a house in Italy. I think that’s an intelligent construct at this point.”
