Fulham shows interest in Everton midfielder Alex Iwobi.

The Cottagers are keen to bolster their attack following the departure of star player Aleksandar Mitrovic to Saudi Pro League giants Al-Hilal earlier this summer.

Iwobi suffered an injury during Everton’s disastrous 4-0 defeat to Aston Villa, missing out on the Toffees’ 1-0 defeat to Wolves last weekend.

Sean Dyche, who has strengthened himself on the flanks with new summer signings Arnaut Danjuma and Jack Harrison, may feel Iwobi is now redundant and approve a transfer if Fulham were to submit a bid.

Everton are bottom of the Premier League after three games and are battling a crucial early relegation battle with promoted side Sheffield United this weekend.

Fulham, meanwhile, have endured a mixed run of results to begin the new Premier League season. He defeated Everton before losing 3–0 to Brentford and drawing 2–2 against Arsenal.

Iwobi, who has taken on a bigger role at Goodison Park since moving from the Gunners, has scored just nine goals and 16 assists in 140 appearances with the Toffees.

The Cottagers have had a somewhat quiet period in the transfer market, signing only Calvin Bassey, Raul Jimenez and Adama Traore this summer.

Bassey, who joined from Ajax for £18.2 million, was sent off at the Emirates before Joao Palhinha’s late equalizer saved a point for Marco Silva’s side.
