Fulham have made Tottenham a £25 million plus add-ons offer for disgraced midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg as Marco Silva looks to add more Premier League experience to his side.

Hojbjerg is expected to leave Spurs before the transfer window closes on Friday and has also had offers from Atletico Madrid and Turkish side Galatasaray.

Interest from Manchester United led Madrid to reopen talks with Spurs over a deal for the 28-year-old after initially pursuing the midfielder at the start of the transfer window.

The LaLiga side are looking to sign a loan deal with an option to buy at the end of the season, but Spurs are more likely to secure a permanent transfer for the experienced professional.

Fulham hope to beat the Spanish competition with Hojbjerg’s signature and are prepared to buy the player now rather than wait another year to do so.

Hojbjerg is also being chased by LaLiga team Atletico Madrid and looks set to leave Spurs before the transfer window closes

Tottenham signed the Denmark international three years ago for £20 million from Southampton under the management of former manager Jose Mourinho.

However, new boss Ange Postecoglou is willing to let Hojbjerg leave, along with several other starting first-team players, including England international Eric Dier.

Spurs manager Postecoglou favors a three-player midfield: Yves Bissouma, James Maddison and Pape Sarr, meaning Hojbjerg has struggled to gain minutes so far this season.

He made his first start of the season in Tottenham’s second round of the Carabao Cup against Fulham on Tuesday, where the visitors lost on penalties.

Hojbjerg has made 148 first-team appearances for Tottenham and it looks set to end his career at the club before the transfer window closes.

Meanwhile, Bayern Munich have rejected an initial £47 million bid from Fulham for Portuguese midfielder Joao Palhinha as talks between the two clubs continue.
