A super frugal mom has revealed how she saved $443 on a recent grocery shopping trip for her kids β after noticing a sale rack outside Big W.
The savvy mom spent just $46 at the store and bought 23 new shirts, sweaters, dresses and matching sets for her daughter.
βI love when Big W has a $2 rack of clothes. Hidden with preschool and baby stuff,’ she said, demonstrating her incredible abilities.
The woman, who lives in Australia, said she was “just walking by to fill in the time” when she saw the end-of-season clearance rack.
She managed to get her daughter a popular “Bluey” tutu dress and an adorable dinosaur dress, as well as a Carebears sweater and a retro Mickey Mouse shirt.

People seemed green with envy at her incredible happiness, but she said there were “heaps left” and others supported her.
“It varies from store to store, but they all seem to have stock to get rid of.”
They added that everything on the clearance rack “checks in for $2,” even if it carries a higher price tag.
“If it has the yellow sticker, it’s probably only $2, they just haven’t physically marked it, so the label still says $7 or $10,” one savvy shopper noted.
One mother said she “spent $30 and got a bag full of clothes” thanks to the woman’s timely mail.
“What for my baby for now and a size 2 lol.. a dress for my niece and some stuff for me,” she said, noting that it saved her $148.
And she wasn’t alone, dozens thanked her for sharing and noted that they saved hundreds.
“I spent $80 and saved $500, thank you so much for sharing,” one mom said.

Others begged to know when “the sale could end.”
But people were quick to point out that it was just clearance stock.
βIt will end when there is nothing left. Big W usually does this at the end of every season.β they said.
Others simply congratulated the mother on her happiness.
