Crew members on a Frontier Airlines flight reported feeling sick due to a mysterious “foul” odor on the plane.
Hazmat crews were sent to San Antonio International Airport in Texas after flight attendants reportedly became nauseous after noticing a “vapor-like odor.”
Flight 990 was en route to San Antonio from Denver when combat personnel working in the back of the plane noticed a foul odor that smelled like fumes and alerted the captain.
The crew members felt nauseous due to the smell, but no passengers were reported to be bothered by the disturbing odor.
Hazmat crews cleared the scene at the San Antonio airport, but it is unclear where the fumes were coming from.

Flight 990 was en route to San Antonio from Denver when Frontier Airlines flight attendants working in the back of the plane noticed a foul odor that smelled like fumes and alerted the captain.
“On Flight 990 Thursday from Denver to San Antonio, flight attendants working in the rear of the aircraft noticed a smoke-like odor and advised the captain,” Frontier Airlines said in a statement posted by Gene De La Cruz on X (formerly known as Twitter). ).
“The odor was concentrated in the rear of the aircraft and no passengers reported being affected,” the statement said.
The San Antonio Fire Department confirmed that hazardous materials crews cleared the scene, but did not share any further information.
A similar smoke-related incident occurred in October on a British Airways flight from Barcelona to Heathrow.

Passengers told MailOnline how they were ‘kept’ on the plane for almost two ‘traumatic’ hours, despite fears of toxic ‘fumes’ swirling around them.
Australian Jenny Irons was stuck in Britain after flying from Barcelona to Heathrow, claiming the plane was ‘locked down after landing due to ‘possible contamination’ on board’.
Ms Irons told MailOnline: ‘We were held in the plane on the Tarmac for almost two hours. We were told there was a possible fire and we couldn’t disembark. One can only wonder what the logic of this is.
‘We were deprived of air and water for over an hour as temperatures soared and anxiety levels followed. We watched the crews and emergency personnel board and disembark the plane, while we were held in our seats by the crew, firefighters, and police, forbidding us from even going up the back stairs to get air.
