A Frontier Airlines passenger was forced to deplane an entire flight after refusing to comply with exit instructions.
Video of the incident posted on social media shows the unidentified woman visibly angry with airline employees as fellow passengers begged her to get off the plane.
The woman insisted she would not leave and was eventually led away by police officers at Charlotte Douglas International Airport in North Carolina.
When she was removed, all passengers on board were ordered to disembark while she was taken away in a police car.
For passengers seated in an exit row, the FAA requires them to read instructions and verbally comply with physical duties to assist others in the event of an emergency.

It is unclear exactly when this took place, but video of the incident was posted on May 9.
DailyMail.com has contacted Frontier Airlines and Charlotte Douglas International Airport for confirmation.
A TikToker, Travel With Tia, who recorded the fight, explained what happened during the altercation.
“This lady here, when she first got on the plane and accepted the exit row, she said, ‘Oh, I’m not going to save anyone. If something happens, I’m going to save myself,'” she said. .
“That was her attitude throughout the entire sitting process. And I knew something was going to explode when she had that attitude.”
Video of the dramatic incident shows the woman with glasses, dressed in black, beginning to argue with a female flight attendant.
The passenger says, “Yes, she’s talking to me – what’s the problem?” as she points to another flight attendant.
She asks the other flight attendant, “Because she won’t tell us her name?” while the airline employee tries to talk to her.
As she puts her drink down on the floor of the plane, the flight attendant says, “If it’s going to be a problem…” before the woman interrupts her.
‘A problem? What’s the problem?’ while the flight attendant explains what is expected of them in the exit row.
‘We have no problem with that. We understand that we have to help people get off the plane and help Betty White if something happens,” the passenger answers as she points to the other flight attendant.
Passengers can be heard laughing in the background as the woman repeats: ‘What’s the problem? We have agreed.’
The flight attendant walks away as the passenger continues, “You’re wasting your breath. Are they going to take this plane off the ground?’
The female passenger then puts her phone on the floor and mutters, “Go away, my damn face,” as she grabs a snack and turns to the other flight attendant.
‘Did you ask her permission? You’re not doing your job,” the passenger says as the employee puts her hand in front of the passenger’s face.
“You better get out of my face, that’s what you gotta do, Betty,” the passenger says as she opens her snack.
The two then exchange more words before the Frontier attendant walks away.
The passenger begins to enjoy her food as the people around her chuckle and look around the plane.
‘Girl, tell me? No,” the woman says before another employee approaches her.
With a sheet of paper in hand, the airline employee tries to talk to the upset woman and says, “They said you weren’t listening…”
The passenger interrupts her and says, “That lady came to ask us, we have witnesses, we all agreed!”
The employee then waves at a flight attendant as the passenger adds, “Yes, because we all agreed. Everyone can witness that.’
“And my grandson is getting off school, and his mother has taken a flight to Mexico, and I’m not getting off this plane,” the passenger continues before the captain makes an announcement over the loudspeaker.
In another video, the angry passenger can be seen raising her voice at the employee and saying, “No, that is, no, my grandson is four years old and is leaving school.”
The employee then moves to the front of the plane while the angry woman continues to fight and remain in her seat.
The captain then gets back on the loudspeaker and says, “Ladies and gentlemen, we are going here soon, we need to resolve this matter. The police will arrive.’
The passenger then chats with others around her and says, “She’s lying!”
In one clip, another Frontier employee, wearing a neon green shirt and a dark bucket hat, can be seen approaching the passenger.
‘I’m going to ask you politely again to get out. If not, we will get off the plane and the police will escort you out,” he says.
Now the excited passenger, with her cell phone to her ear, says she is going to call her lawyer.
“Because we didn’t do anything wrong and they asked us to agree, and we did. We have a whole crew, staff, we have a whole crew,” she says, pointing to the people around her.
“Ma’am, I understand that, but we’ll talk about it outside,” the male employee responds.
‘But what are we going to do? My grandson is in Texas and gets home from school at three o’clock.’
“That’s fine, I understand, but we need to get off the plane and talk about it,” the employee says.
With her phone still to her ear, the woman says, “Sir, no, that’s not legal. I’ll get my lawyer on the phone,” while the employee walks away.
The pilot then goes to her seat and tries to talk to her.
She was eventually escorted off the plane by police officers in handcuffs, as angry passengers watched from the airport after they disembarked.
“You’re bothering everyone else,” the pilot tells her as fellow passengers become rowdy.
The pilot and the disgruntled passenger continue to exchange words as he points to the front of the plane.
Soon, another female passenger, wearing a denim jacket with pearls on it, approaches the woman and tries to tell her to leave the plane.
“You’ll have to book another flight,” the passenger tells her.
The angry woman replies, “But my grandson!”
Another upset passenger says, “You won’t get there and neither will we if you don’t get out,” as others agree.
More passengers begin to stand up and try to persuade the woman to get off the plane, while the woman remains in her seat.
Finally, two officers walk down the aisle and approach the irate passenger.
She asks the pilot, “Are you arresting me?”
“I’m the pilot,” he answers as the police intervene.
A final clip shows frustrated passengers returning to the airport as the woman leaves the plane in handcuffs, escorted by several officers.
The video ends with her being walked to a police car on the runway as they inspect her belongings.
It is unclear whether the other passengers boarded the flight again and reached their destination. It is also unclear whether the woman has been charged.
