Here’s a look back at some of Boebert’s biggest scandals heading into her crucial primary:
Groping and vaping on a date Beetle juice
In September 2023, Boebert was thrown out of a Beetlejuice performance in Denver after audience members complained that she was vaping near a pregnant woman, talking and singing too loudly, taking flash photos and groping her date, Aspen bar owner Quinn Gallagher.

Legal problems with ex-husband
Boebert’s ex-husband Jayson had originally claimed that Lauren punched him during an altercation when they met to try to get better terms in January when he was arrested for a domestic violence incident. He later recanted that claim.
In a separate incident, Jayson Boebert was accused of attacking their 18-year-old son and pulling a gun as the son tried to call authorities in a fight over laundry.
Boebert, 43, accepted a deal Wednesday from the 9th Judicial District Attorney’s Office in which he pleaded guilty to one count of reckless endangerment.
The Boeberts married in 2005 and separated in 2023, but continued to make headlines with their rocky divorce and legal troubles.
Rep. Boebert — who became a grandmother at age 36 — had sought a restraining order against Jayson in February after the altercations to protect her children.
She told a judge in March that she wanted to extend the order, saying she knows her four children miss their father, but said, “I’m afraid his anger toward me will be taken out on me.” [their sons].’
But she later wanted it scrapped after they came to a “strict agreement.”

Son faces legal trouble for shoplifting
Boebert’s son, 18-year-old son Tyler, became a father in April 2023, making her a 37-year-old grandmother. He is also awaiting trial after being arrested in late February for a series of shoplifting incidents.
The teen faces four counts of criminal possession of a financial device, three counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and three counts of theft under $300.
He also faces four felony counts of criminal possession of multiple victims’ identity documents, one misdemeanor count of conspiracy to commit a crime and an additional fifteen other misdemeanors and minor misdemeanors.

Jason told DailyMail.com: ‘I know my son is a good-hearted child and has his whole life ahead of him.’
Rep. Boebert said in a statement to DailyMail.com that her son must face consequences, but ultimately she loves and supports him.
“I love my son Tyler, who has faced some very difficult, public challenges for a young man and been the subject of attention he didn’t ask for,” she said.

She was forced to apologize after insinuating that Ilhan Omar is a terrorist
In November 2021, Boebert told a crowd of supporters:
“One of my staffers got into an elevator with me in the Capitol on his first day. And we were joined in that elevator by Ilhan Omar,” Boebert told the crowd in September. “There were three of us there and I looked at it and said, look, it’s the Jihad squad.
“She doesn’t have a backpack, she didn’t drop it and she ran, so she’s fine,” Boebert added.
Boebert later posted her apology on X: “I apologize to anyone in the Muslim community who I offended with my comment about Representative Omar. There are enough policy differences to focus on without this unnecessary distraction.”
