From Beyoncé’s £1.7 billion Renaissance World Tour to successful solo careers and personal battles, where are the SIX former members of the Destiny’s Child group now?

Destiny’s Child was one of the most successful girl groups of all time.

Catapulted to success in the late 1990s and early 1990s, at one point almost anyone could recite “Say My Name” word for word, and their long catalog of songs has provided several belters.

The group’s unfathomable fame came despite abrupt changes that involved several adjustments of the group’s members and even a last-minute name change.

Destiny’s Child saw a total of six members over the years, and of course we all know the trio of Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland, and Michelle Williams.

But before the group took its final shape, LeTavia Roberson, LeToya Luckett and Farrah Franklin spent time in the group.

But where are the former members of Destiny’s Child now? This is what they do today.

Destiny’s Child had a hugely successful career and consisted of three members: Michelle Williams (left), Beyonce (center), and Kelly Rowland (right).

But what happened to the other three members? Here’s everything you need to know about what the members of the group are doing today

Beyoncé

Beyoncé is undeniably the best known of the group and after the band broke up in 2003, she went on to build a hugely successful solo career.

Today she’s known as Queen Bey, and for good reason. The star’s massive career – which spans singing, dancing and acting – has broken records

She made history as the most nominated female artist in Grammy history, with 32 wins, and had sold over 200 million records worldwide.

In 2018, she became the first black woman to headline Coachella, and she’s racked up millions more with projects like the Netflix documentary Homecoming, which the star produced and directed herself.

Currently, Beyoncé is performing her three-hour Renaissance Tour in sold-out stadiums in Europe and North America.

The singer could potentially earn as much as $2.2 billion for the tour, which he says ends in September Forbes.

Outside of her professional career, Beyoncé has been married to rapper Jay-Z since 2008, and they share three children, 11-year-old Blue and twins Sir and Rumi, both five.

Kelly Rowland

Kelly was another original member of the group who went on to have a successful career in showbiz.

Since her girl group, she has released several albums, including Simply Deep in 2022, Ms. Kelly in 2007, Here I Am in 2011 and Talk a Good Game a few years later.

Kelly was the first outside of the group to win a Grammy and has also lent her expertise as a judge on The Voice and both The X Factor UK and USA.

The star is married to music manager Tim Weatherspoon and the couple have two children together.

Since the world-renowned group split, Kelly has built a solo career and even lent her expertise to judging the popular singing competitions The Voice and The X Factor

Michelle Williams

Michelle Williams was the last member of Destiny’s Child and is often the lesser known member of the group.

Since the split, she has released four solo albums, three of them in the gospel genre. Her most popular songs were ‘We Break the Dawn’ and ‘Journey to Freedom’.

The star also tried her hand at acting and in 2003 she made her Broadway debut as the title character in Aida.

She had starring roles in The Color Purple, Chicago, What My Husband Doesn’t Know, Fela!, and A Snow White Christmas.

More recently, Michelle took part in series 8 of Strictly Come Dancing in the UK and in 2019, the singer competed as ‘Butterfly’ in the second season of The Masked Singer in the US.

In 2021, Michelle released her memoir, Checking In: How Getting Real About Depression Saved My Life–and Can Save Yours, and also co-starred in Hallmark’s TV movie, Christmas in Harmony.

Michelle also recently revealed on Season 6 of The Terrell Show that she didn’t want the group to break up after their last album from 2004, Destiny Fulfilled.

La Tavia Roberson

LaTavia was a member of the group, originally called Girl’s Tyme, before it started.

After years of limited success, the original quartet featuring LaTavia, LeToya, Beyonce and Kelly was signed to Columbia Records in 1997 as ‘Destiny’s Child’.

The group rose to fame with the release of the song ‘No, No, No’ and their best-selling album, The Writing’s on The Wall in 199, which featured the smash hits ‘Bills, Bills, Bills’ and ‘Say My Name’.

But despite widespread recognition, LaTavia and LeToya left after disagreements over management and creative control.

Since then, LaTavia formed the R&B group Anjel, which did not last long.

In March, the artist announced that she would be sharing a telling documentary titled “The Reintroduction: I Am Who She Is,” which would examine her career and struggle with alcohol addiction.

LeToya Luckett

LeToya was another original member of the group, who left before their huge success took shape.

After leaving, she was also a member of the short-lived group Anjel and has also released solo music. Her 2006 debut album, LeToya, featured the hit single “Torn.”

She also shared all about her life after Destiny’s Child in her digital show, “Leave it to LeToya.”

She shares daughter Gianna and son Tyson with her estranged husband, Tommicus Walker – who she announced she was divorcing in 2021.

Farrah Franklin

The last and most forgotten member of Destiny’s Child is Farrah Franklin who, along with Michelle Williams, replaced original members LeToya and LeTavia.

But Franklin was fired after just a few months, leaving the group as a trio.

The singer wasn’t seen or heard from much after her short-lived stint and made headlines in the years that followed for a number of arrests related to public intoxication and disorderly conduct, according to TMZ.

In May 2020, Franklin returned to her musical roots and released the song Push Up On Me.
