Friendly exes Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie share embrace as they reunite to watch son’s soccer game
Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie were an item for about seven years before deciding to separate in 2014, which ended in divorce two years later.
But on Friday, the former couple showed they are still in a friendly relationship when they reunited to watch their son Luca’s soccer game in Los Angeles.
The actress and the former NHL hockey player even went so far as to share a hug and a few smiles when they first met before the game got underway.
And in another sign that they’re on good terms, Comrie even helped out his ex-wife’s daughter Banks, who she shares with current husband Matthew Koma, by helping their four-year-old put her shoes on.
The proud parents arrived separately, and then the former Edmonton Oilers star made her way to Duff’s SUV, where she attempted to locate two of her three children.

Duff, 35, stood just outside her parked vehicle with Banks, as her ex-husband walked over.
The former Lizzie McGuire star kept it casual and cool in the fashion department in form-fitting black leggings and a matching shirt and stylish jacket.
The Houston, Texas native also wore brown running shoes and had her long blond locks pulled back into a ponytail that was parted in the middle.
After hearing Comrie make his presence, the two shared hellos, along with a sweet and heartfelt hug, as they both smiled.
The Edmonton, Alberta, Canada native, who now lives in Los Angeles, wore tan pants with a white hoodie over a matching T-shirt.
The former professional suction center also wore a pair of white sneakers and had his dark brown hair styled short and over his ears.
After the football game, the actress and singer went to Luca to congratulate him on a good game by giving him a kiss and a big hug.
The 11-year-old often has both his parents at his sporting events over the years.

Family matters: Along with Luca, Duff is also the proud mother of daughters Banks, four, and Mae, two, who she shares with second husband Matthew Koma, 36
Duff and Comrie started dating in 2007 and finally decided to tie the knot three years later.
But in the end, the couple decided that their best way forward was to separate and get a divorce, which was finalized in 2016.
The How I Met Your Father star would move on and start dating Koma a year later, which would lead to them getting married in 2019, following the arrival of their daughter Banks.
Daughter Mae, two, would arrive in grand style in 2021, a few years after they exchanged their vows.
Koma (born Matthew Bair), 36, is a Grammy-winning musician who has collaborated with Duff, Hardwell, Zeed, Miriam Bryant, Sebastian Ingrosso, Alesso, Afrojack, Tiësto, Vicetone, One Republic’s Ryan Tedder and Keith Stedelijk.
