After Arsenal’s 1-0 extra-time win over Chelsea, Eidevall said: ‘I was able to have a conversation with her, but not about a medical perspective.

“I just checked with her how she’s doing and told her we won and I have some understanding of the next steps, but I don’t have a medical update.

“She will travel back with the team and we will provide an update afterwards.”

Eidevall was the first to see that Maanum needed urgent treatment before Arsenal left-back Katie McCabe rushed to her side and called for medics to quickly enter the field.

The reason for Maanum’s collapse is still unknown, but it was said that she was reacting and talking after the match and will remain under the supervision of Arsenal’s medical team.
