Fresh blow for The Block’s Leah and Ash as couple reduce the price of House 2 in desperate attempt to sell before Christmas

Leah and Ash from The Block become desperate in their attempts to pull off a Christmas miracle.

Despite reports of multiple offers on House 2 in recent days, the renovated property at 16 Charming Street remains unsold over a month after the show's finale.

According to DomainThe property's asking price has undergone a revision, now reduced from an ambitious $3.2 million to a slightly more modest $3.125 million.

In a strategic change, Noel Susay, the Buxton Hampton East agent handling the sale, has confirmed a move to a more traditional sales campaign.

The move comes after the post-auction period failed to secure a buyer, leading to a series of open inspections in recent weeks.

Just when they thought they'd be toasting a successful sale this Christmas, The Block's Leah and Ash have had their holiday spirit dampened.

The couple were the only contestants to walk away empty-handed after the Channel Nine show's record-breaking final last month after their renovated home (pictured) failed to sell

Susay's comments to Domain highlighted the change in approach: “We just started opening up to inspections in the last two weeks and have turned it into, I think, a normalized campaign,” he said.

'We've had two Saturdays and two midweek openings.'

“We haven't been swamped with people – I thought once we opened it we'd get a lot of fans and so on… but we had real people come and see it and be good.”

The agent also noted the challenges associated with the timing of sales, with the end-of-year festive period typically seeing a slowdown in property transactions.

However, he remains optimistic about the shift to a traditional private sales campaign, hoping it will attract serious buyers.

Leah and Ash's House 2 caused a lot of excitement among potential bidders ahead of The Block's auction in November.
