Captioning the clip, “Here’s a scam for the girls and boys,” the TikToker offered her savage advice.
She also revealed that you could even use her tip at a hotel.
“If you’re ever in a hotel, or I’ve used this on airplanes too, where people are right next to you and are really loud and rude, and you want to ask them to be quiet, but you don’t want to be there*** about.
“When you say to them, ‘Hey, I’m sorry, can you please be quiet for a second? I have to get up early tomorrow for a funeral,'” every time they immediately feel so bad.
“They go quiet right away,” Sam revealed.
Her 30-second clip certainly caught the attention of other flyers, making the video a viral success.
And while her advice may seem a bit morbid, many social media users labeled her a “genius.”
They quickly expressed their gratitude for the traveler and noted that they would use him the next time they traveled.

Many social media users even chimed in to share their own examples of how they deal with rowdy passengers.
One user said, “Or make sure they know they’re too noisy by joining the conversation.” “Sorry, why couldn’t Barbara come to the wedding?”
“My mom did this once and then she was sobbing her eyes out for the rest of the flight like her lie was too good,” one person commented.
Another person said, “I’m pretending to call and say “sorry, this person is super loud, I can’t hear you.”

However, others warned her against making jokes about such serious matters.
One user wrote, “Okay, but tell me that’s not bad juju.”
‘I’m superstitious. I could never lie about a funeral,” said one.
Another person added, “I don’t believe in lying about death because I’m afraid of karma and this feels like playing with fire.”
“I’m way too superstitious to say those words on an airplane,” another user commented.

Her 30-second clip garnered viral success and comes just a day after a pilot told DailyMail.com everything there is to know about airplane etiquette — including how to distract any toddlers on board and how to stow your bags.
It also comes a week after an influencer reignited the debate over airline etiquette when she revealed she refused to change sweats for a family.
Audrey Peters, 25, took to TikTok to share her displeasure with the request to move to a middle seat so a family can sit together.
The social media star, who is from Miami but currently lives in New York City, laughed off the request, saying they should have booked their flight earlier.
Her reaction caused the internet to spin as the chair swap continued to divide the internet.
In the past, Jaci Stephen of DailyMail.com even voiced her opinion, confessing that she “absolutely refuses” to switch seats, no matter how angry the passenger requesting the transfer may get.
