Deliver a baby without help? What is a free delivery?

  • Free delivery, also known as unassisted delivery, is delivering your baby at home without the presence of a doctor, midwife, or other trained health professional.
  • It can endanger the baby and the mother and can even cause death.
  • Medical experts do not recommend unassisted delivery.

In a video shared on TikTok, the mom shared the ‘controversial’ things she does while pregnant.

“Controversial things I do while pregnant that upset people, because apparently it’s their body,” she captioned the video, which racked up more than 1.3 million views.

She then revealed that she does not use any ‘prenatal care’ and has never had ‘ultrasounds or tests’.

The 23-year-old also revealed that she incorporates cannabis into her pregnancy, although she said she doesn’t smoke it.

In a follow-up video, the mother said: ‘Be careful if your wife comes.

“I am going to teach her to give birth alone at home, not to trust the government or doctors and that 99% of the food you eat poisons you.”

Kaytlynn also revealed that she delivered her first child at a hospital, but paid $5,000 in healthcare fees, but doctors “literally did nothing,” leading her to try free delivery.

Free delivery, also known as unassisted delivery, is delivering your baby at home without the presence of a doctor, midwife, or other trained health professional.

According to the American College of Obstetrics and GynecologyAbout 35,000 births occur at home each year, and about a quarter of them are unplanned and unattended.

The housewife lives a ‘toxin-free’ lifestyle, turning to herbal remedies when sick, using reusable toilet paper and eating a diet rich in raw and vegan foods.

A vegan diet rich in raw foods includes mostly raw, unprocessed foods, but generally follows a ratio of 75-90% raw foods and 25-10% cooked foods.

High Raw Vegan Diet: What is it and how sustainable is it?

  • A high raw vegan diet includes mostly raw, unprocessed foods, but generally follows a percentage of 75-90% raw foods and 25-10% cooked foods.
  • A raw food diet includes foods that are raw or in their natural state and omits most other foods.
  • Although a diet rich in raw vegan products can improve heart health and reduce the risk of diabetes, it is important to monitor vitamin B12 levels that come from consuming animal products while following a raw vegan diet.

Doctors do not recommend free delivery, with Dr. Vyta Senikas, former vice president of the Canadian Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, noted that ‘unassisted childbirth is not safe, period’.

While ACOG noted that any type of home birth carries risks, free delivery is particularly unsafe.

Although unassisted childbirth allows a woman to feel more empowered and have a better sense of privacy, there are many risks in delivering a baby without the help of a medical professional.

It can endanger the baby and the mother and can even cause death.

Investigation has shown that 10 to 40 percent of home births require transfers to a hospital due to complications.

If you are having a home birth, medical experts recommend that you have a midwife or other medical professional present.

It is also recommended that you be in frequent communication with an OB/GYN and have an emergency plan in case something goes wrong.

Additionally, according to American College of Nurse Midwivesthose expecting multiples, experiencing preterm labor, having an active herpes infection, preeclampsia, or gestational diabetes are not good candidates for unassisted delivery.

You should also avoid free labor if you have previously experienced a stillbirth, C-section, or severe postpartum haemorrhage.
