Fred Again shocks fans with surprise 9am set at jam-packed Melbourne nightclub and teases yet ANOTHER low-key gig after secret Sydney show

Fred Again left his fans completely shocked when he took to the stage for a surprise show at a Melbourne nightclub on Saturday morning.

The record producer, 30, has flown Down Under for his sold-out tour, but he has also given lucky fans who might not have secured the coveted tickets the chance to see him live.

He’s been treating his Aussie fans to a slew of surprise shows since landing, performing an intimate show at a Sydney nightclub earlier this week.

And on Saturday morning, the DJ made another surprise performance for his die-hard fans, just hours after arriving in Melbourne late on Friday night.

Since he was an early riser, Fred took to his Instagram Stories at 7 a.m. to share a video of himself wandering the streets while noting that “not much was open.”

Fred Again left his fans completely shocked when he took to the stage for a surprise show at Revolver Upstairs nightclub in Melbourne at 9am on Saturday.

However, he teased that he had found “one place” that was open before confirming he would be putting on a set at Revolver Upstairs nightclub in Melbourne at 9am.

He shared a video of himself grinning as he danced behind the DJ decks as he performed for the packed club early in the morning.

His fans descended on the venue for his surprise performance and eagerly danced along to his epic setlist, marking an incredible start to the weekend.

Fred also sweetly shared a video of a fan on a video call with their family member, making sure they didn’t miss the chance to soak up the atmosphere during the performance.

While overwhelmed by the experience, Fred captioned one of the videos, “I’ve always wanted to play a set like that!”

He also teased that he’s gearing up for another surprise show, while hinting that he’ll be “back in a few hours” at a mystery location.

He wrote: ‘Confirm somewhere for later. I’m told it’s not confirmed yet, but I hope to be back in a few hours!’

It comes just days after Fred treated a few hundred fans to a surprise performance in Sydney on Thursday evening.

He performed at Club 77 in Darlinghurst in front of 200 music lovers, who were selected and informed about the show via a WhatsApp message from the musician.

‘Hi! Throw a random party tonight and we’ve randomly selected a few songs to send the ticket link to, so if you get this message, that’s you! If you want to come!’ read the message.

He also shocked fans earlier this week with a last-minute surprise performance at the Sydney Opera House.

Fred’s surprise appearances come after he apologized to fans when tickets for his Melbourne, Sydney and Gold Coast shows sold out within an hour of going on sale.

“I just want to say that I really didn’t expect this to be a situation where we would leave so many people disappointed with tickets,” he said via Instagram.

“Like in my mind we came all the way here and did these ambitious shows to play for people you know!”

“I didn’t think we would leave 90 percent of people disappointed, so of course THANK YOU, but it really saddens me to see all your posts today,” he added.

Fred kicks off his tour in Melbourne, playing three consecutive shows at Rod Laver Arena from March 4 to 6, before heading to a pop-up venue on the Gold Coast on March 9.

He then returns to Sydney for three shows at Qudos Bank Arena from March 12 to 14.
