The billionaire nicknamed the Crypto King of Australia ringed in the New Year with a wild party at his $17 million oceanside mansion.

Fred Schebesta, 42, who founded comparison site Finder and is estimated to be worth $200 million, celebrated the first day of the year in style by filling his unique home in Sydney’s South Coogee with models and burlesque dancers.

The pool party honoring her friend Miss B saw DJ Shiralee Coleman headlining a number of acts, including racy dance performances from Porcelain Alice and Clara Fable.

These young ladies are probably well aware of the old saying that blondes have more fun.

The champagne-sipping guests at the revelry opted for a wide range of fashionable outfits.

Some donned daring bikinis making the most of the luxurious infinity pool.

Others opted for colorful sundresses and soaked up the sun.

While the elegant white dresses were also very popular among the party goers.

There were some who looked like sheikhs dressed entirely in black, as most of the men kept it casual in designer jeans and smart summer shirts.

The AFR Young Rich-Lister recently put another luxury home in eastern Sydney up for sale for $6.5 million, after the price of Bitcoin fell more than 50 percent in value earlier this year.

But Mr. Schebesta plans to hold on to his Coogee Crypto Castle, once owned by businessman John Singleton and used in several movies including Eyes Wide Shut, for a little longer.

‘You’d be very, very hard pressed to find another place that comes close. And I and that’s what I look for – very unique properties. Because I’m a pretty unique guy,’ he told the daily telegraph recently.

The entrepreneur bought digital currency when Bitcoin was in its infancy, earning him massive profits.

In a 2021 interview with TikTok star Fonzie Gomez, he said the flashy five-bedroom South Coogee property was bought with cryptocurrency proceeds.

You are in the house of cryptos. Crypto built this house,” Schebesta told Gomez, as he showed the TikToker his 9,000-square-foot mansion.

The South Coogee house can be rented on Airbnb for just over $25,000 a night.
