Fred Again gives free tickets to fans who couldn’t afford to buy their own… after performing secret show at a Sydney nightclub

Superstar DJ Fred Again treated a group of lucky fans to free tickets after revealing they couldn’t afford to attend his concert.

One lucky fan took to social media to share the conversation she had with her friends, who couldn’t afford the $169.90 it can cost for a ticket to his show.

“I don’t have any money left until July,” one friend wrote.

“If I hadn’t gone earlier this week I would be so excited,” said another.

The fan decided to try her luck and messaged the English record producer, 30, asking for free passes.

“Fred, I can’t convince my friends to come because they don’t have enough chance of getting a guest list (tickets),” she wrote.

Much to the fans’ excitement, Fred agreed to provide three free tickets, adding, “(They) will be under your name at the box office,” he said.

“Fred, you are a hero THANK YOU,” the excited fan responded.

It comes after the DJ treated a few hundred fans to a surprise performance in Sydney earlier this month.

The British DJ, whose real name is Frederick John Philip Gibson, performed at Club 77 in Darlinghurst for enthusiastic music lovers in a secret show.

A handful of fans were selected and informed about the show via a WhatsApp message directly from the musician.

‘Hi! We’re having a random party tonight and we’ve randomly selected a few songs to send the ticket link to, so if you get this message, that’s you! If you want to come!’ read the message.

Only 200 diehard fans scored tickets for the secret gig, with several missing the popular record producer’s yet another live performance.

Fred kicked off his Australian tour in Melbourne, playing three consecutive shows at Rod Laver Arena from March 4 to 6, before heading to a pop-up venue on the Gold Coast on March 9.

He then returned to Sydney for three shows at the Qudos Bank Arena from March 12 to March 14.
