Fred Again…fans have branded him a “fake baby” after discovering his very posh relatives and swanky schooling.

The 30-year-old British recording artist and Mercury nominee has become one of the country’s most in-demand disc jockeys following his headline show at Coachella last month.

But looking at Twitter fans, we couldn’t believe that the trendy hitmaker, whose real name is Frederick John Philip Gibson, was a direct descendant of a baronet and had an income of £45,000 a year at Marlborough College.

The elite boarding school’s former students include none other than the Princess of Wales Kate Middleton, her sister Pippa, and comedian Jack Whitehall.

One fan commented, “FRED IS A NEPOBABY AGAIN CAUSE HE’S AN ARISTOCRAT WTF!?”

While a third said, “Is it wrong that the discovery that Fred Again is literally an aristocrat makes me less enthusiastic about his heartfelt, rousing dance tunes?”

Someone else warned, “Don’t look up Fred on Wikipedia again. most fitzroy garagable aristocrat’

And another wrote, “Today I learned that FRED AGAIN is a direct descendant of the British Royal Family, the son of the King’s Counsel barrister and an aristocrat.”

The DJ is the son of King’s Counsel attorney Charles Anthony Warneford Gibson and Mary Ann Frances Morgan, who are members of the British nobility.

Meanwhile, his great-grandparents include the aristocrat and financier Shane O’Neill, 3rd Baron O’Neill and British socialite Ann Fleming – who later married James Bond creator Ian Fleming.

Fred arrived at the posh college in 2006, six years after the Princess left after completing three A levels

Radio DJ and presenter Lauren Laverne will host the ceremony on Thursday at the Eventim Apollo in London’s Hammersmith.

Studio wizard Fred Again.. – who has written and produced tracks for Ed Sheeran, Rita Ora and George Ezra – has received his first nomination for ‘Actual Life 3 (January 1 – September 9, 2022)’, part of a trilogy.
