Freak work accident in Botany leaves tradie stranded on a roof with an angle grinder lodged in his leg
A freak work accident left a tradie stranded on a roof with an angle grinder sticking out of his leg.
Emergency services were called to a property on a leafy residential street in Botany in Sydney’s south at 11.30am on Thursday.
They discovered that a man had suffered a deep laceration to his leg from an angle grinder while the power tool was stuck inside him.
Police officers helped NSW ambulance crews remove the man from the roof where he had been working.
“It appeared he had suffered significant blood loss from a deep cut in his leg,” a witness said.
“The angle grinder was still sticking out of his leg when they took him down.”
Daily Mail Australia has approached NSW Police and NSW Ambulance for comment.
