Frazer Clarke bad-mouths Fabio Wardley… calling the reigning champion a ‘delusional’, ‘c***’, ‘p***’ ahead of their ‘Bad Blood’ showdown at the O2
British heavyweight boxer Frazer Clarke has slammed his upcoming opponent Fabio Wardley, labeling his fellow fighter a ‘delusional’, ‘c***’, ‘p***’.
Clarke and Wardley will clash in a ‘Bad Blood’ showdown for the British and Commonwealth titles at The O2 in London on Sunday, March 31, live on Sky Sports in the UK.
Reigning champion Wardley is coming off an incredible 16-fight KO streak and steps back into the ring after dismantling David Adeleye at the Tyson Fury vs. Francis Ngannou undercard on October 28 in Saudi Arabia.
However, Tokyo 2020 Olympic bronze medalist Clarke, who is just eight fights into his promising professional career, has downplayed Wardley’s achievements, calling him a ‘delusional’, ‘c***’, ‘p** *’ named.
When asked what three words he would use to describe Wardley, Clarke said: ‘Delusional, c***, p****.’ While Wardley called Clarke: ‘Intelligent, industrious and gentle’.

Fabio Wardley will put his British and Commonwealth Heavyweight titles on the line against Frazer Clarke on March 31
The pair were due to meet last year, but Wardley fought David Adeleye instead, while Clarke fought David Allen.
The pair were then asked to describe themselves, with Clarke saying he was ‘vicious, driven and hungry’. While Clarke said he was: “Proven, resilient and powerful.”
The two British stars will settle their feud on Sunday, March 31 at the O2 Arena in London, with Viddal Riley, Ben Whittaker and Callum Simpson on the undercard.
A potential heavyweight clash between the two British stars was mooted last year after the pair were officially ordered to meet by the British Boxing Board of Control (BBBofC) on April 13, 2023.
The board also issued a notice ordering the fight to take place in late September 2023. However, Clarke was withdrawn from the bid by his team, leaving the 32-year-old heavyweight furious.
Boxxer CEO and Clarke’s promoter Ben Shalom said on social media that they had offered Wardley a career-high payday and decided to walk away when he turned down the deal.
However, Wardley snapped back at Shalom, saying, “No they didn’t, they offered me less than I got for my last fight. Tell Ben/BOXXER to post the number provided and I’ll send over my final wallet invoice.”
Shalom went on to say that he wanted Clarke to have a ten-round warm-up fight before heading into the twelve-round British title fight. He said he didn’t feel comfortable “throwing” the heavyweight into a fight of that magnitude.
He said: “The reason why we took him out of the bid is because he has fought (scheduled) in six rounds so far. His last fight lasted two rounds. We’re not going to throw him in there. (If it were bids) you might have to do a 12-rounder in three weeks, with no preparation.
“It’s not that he won’t beat Fabio Wardley, he would beat Fabio Wardley in his first fight. But he won’t be fighting a 12-rounder in three weeks. That is why we have made this offer. He will do a 10-rounder first and we have made Fabio an offer to take the fight (after).
“It’s best for him to have a 10-rounder before he fights his first 12-rounder. Anyone who has ever put on a pair of gloves, or ever trained a fighter, will tell you that you don’t go from a six-rounder to a twelve-rounder overnight, regardless of the quality of the opponent.”
Since no agreement had been reached, both fighters went their separate ways. However, both Wardley and Clarke made it clear they wanted to fight each other further down the line.

As a result, Clarke had a ringside seat in Saudi Arabia to watch Wardley retain his British heavyweight title and win the WBO European and vacant Commonwealth titles against David Adeleye before knocking out his fellow Briton.
Shortly after that fight, Wardley and Clarke returned to the negotiating table and agreed to fight on March 31 – officially announcing their clash on the Joshua Buatsi vs Dan Azeez card in London.
