Fraser coast teen’s long list of alleged car thefts and dangerous driving offences revealed
A young schoolgirl’s lengthy criminal record of alleged car thefts and dangerous driving offenses has been revealed weeks after she was linked to a horror crash that claimed three lives.
The 15-year-old girl from Queensland’s Fraser Coast is currently facing a series of serious charges and is considered one of the most dangerous young car thieves in the state.
It is alleged that the teen, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, is known to police and has been arrested and/or charged at least 10 times.
Incidents include the alleged theft of a Kia Cerato racing through the streets of Maryborough a month ago and the alleged theft of another car that crashed into an Uber on May 23.
The Fraser Coast Chronicle also reported that the girl allegedly belongs to a group of teenagers who have driven past Maryborough police station several times in allegedly stolen vehicles to taunt officers who are powerless to pursue.
It is not known if the girl is now in juvenile detention after the recent spate of alleged incidents.

It was revealed last month that the girl drove to Bundaberg and took a 13-year-old boy to Maryborough on April 30, the same day he allegedly stole a Mercedes and caused a horror crash that claimed three lives.
Reach Church members Kelsie Davies, 17, Michale Chandler, 29 and Hervey Bay nurse Sheree Robertson, 52, were killed in the crash. A fourth woman, Kaylah Behrens, 23, was seriously injured.
It is alleged that the boy was picked up by the girl from his home in Bundaberg before the teens traveled to Maryborough before the couple went their separate ways.
The boy was charged with three counts of dangerous driving resulting in death.
The girl has not been charged in the fatal accident, but faces a series of charges over separate incidents.
The alleged role of the 15-year-old girl in the incident was revealed by her own sister through an exchange on a local Facebook group.
In a message, the sister, who cannot be named for legal reasons, says: ‘(the girl) makes her own choice…yes she is friends with (name of 13-year-old), yes she brought (him) to Maryborough that evening he had an accident, but still gives no right to speak to her about it.’
The sister also revealed that the girl attends a local high school but “didn’t live with her parents.”
“My condolences go out to the family who lost their loved ones, it’s a shame they lost their lives but, like I said, he didn’t mean it,” the sister ended the post.
The day after the fatal accident, the girl was reportedly seen driving a stolen white Kia Cerato erratically through the streets of Maryborough.

The girl reportedly drove to Bundaberg and took a 13-year-old boy to Maryborough on April 30, the same day he allegedly stole a Mercedes and caused a fatal crash.
It is alleged that three youths in the car were ‘taunting’ officers, throwing things out the window and raising their middle fingers.
The Kia was posted on the Maryborough Community page that morning with the caption ‘here we go again, last seen flying down Kent St, front smashed’.
It was also alleged that she stole a Mitsubishi Lancer from Woodstock St on April 29, for which she was charged.
The charges include two counts of dangerous driving, operating a motor vehicle without a license, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, taking possession of contaminated property, and one count of entering the home and committing.
The same girl has since been charged in connection with the alleged theft of two cars from Granville that made their way to Hervey Bay before an Uber car crashed in Urangan on May 23.
The Uber driver told the Chronicle last week that she and her three passengers would have been killed had she not swerved.
The girl faced three charges, one each for fraud, unlawful use of a motor vehicle and one for dangerous use of a vehicle, access to buildings and burglary.
She will appear before Maroochydore Magistrates Court at a ‘later date’, police said
