Hurricane Franklin is located 400 km northeast of Grand Turk Island and 900 km southwest of Bermuda. The swell generated by Franklin is expected to begin hitting Bermuda on Sunday evening.

The National Hurricane Center warned residents in a tweet Saturday evening, “Hurricane #Franklin Advisory 26: Franklin expected to become a major hurricane by late Sunday.”
