Frankie Bridge Turns Out in Blue Knit Dress at BAFTA Party

Frankie Bridge and Emily Atack looked amazing as she attended the EE British Academy Film Awards 2023 BAFTA Vanity Fair Rising Star Pre-Party at JOIA in London.

The 34-year-old “Saturdays” singer showed off her impeccable style in a blue knit dress with unique cut-out details.

The Loose Women star increased her height in a pair of clear heels as she posed up a storm at the lavish event.

She sported a glam wet makeup look with a touch of nude lipstick, as she styled her short brown hair in loose waves.

Meanwhile, Emily showed off her figure in a stunning black feather-embellished midi dress, teamed with matching stilettos.

The 33-year-old reality TV star put on a brave face after the release of her emotional documentary, Emily Attack: Asking For It.

She opted for a bronzed makeup palette that accentuated her natural features, with a shimmering nude lipstick.

Emily gathered her golden locks into a bun and posed for a slew of sizzling snaps before the star-studded event.

Instagram model Sophia Hadjipanteli looked busty in a plunging silver dress, teamed with extravagant heeled boots.

The Cypriot star showed off her beauty, after opening up about how her natural bushy unibrow helped propel her to fame.

Zoe Hardman put on a leggy display in a pink mesh mini dress, while adding to her height in a pair of chunky heels.

The five nominees for this year’s prestigious BAFTA EE Rising Star award were announced during a press conference at The Savoy Hotel in London.

Emma Mackey and Aimee Lou Wood, who play friends Aimee and Maeve on Sex Education, were among the nominees.

Naomi Ackie, who recently took on the iconic role of global superstar Whitney Houston in Whitney Houston: I Wanna Dance With Somebody was also on the shortlist.

The 30-year-old actress said of her nomination: “I have followed and been inspired by the EE BAFTA Film Awards for so many years, so to be recognized amongst this incredible group of artists is huge!

‘This nod from the EE Rising Star jury, and being recognized for my work in the country I grew up in, is also a nod of encouragement, to continue creating stories that speak to people. What a beautiful experience to be a part of!’

Emma Mackey, who will appear in Barbie alongside Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling, was also shortlisted.

Commenting on her nomination, Emma said: ‘I’m so grateful to BAFTA and EE for including me in this category. Being able to tell stories and make movies is already a blessing. To be nominated alongside these wonderful actors and for all of us to be noticed by such a respected and inspiring institution is truly humbling.”

Daryl McCormack, who is well known for his leading role in the British comedy-drama Good Luck to You, and Sheila Atim, who stars in the recently released historical epic feature The Woman King, are also in the running for the award.

The award is now in its 18th year and is the only BAFTA voted for by the public.

Voting is now open on the BAFTA website and the winner will be announced on Sunday 19 February at the EE BAFTA Film Awards ceremony.

The remaining BAFTA nominations will be announced on Thursday at 12:00pm in a live broadcast by actors Hayley Atwell before the ceremony.

For the first time, the ceremony will include a live broadcast to reveal the winners of the final four categories after being previously recorded and then broadcast on the same day.

Currently in the running is Netflix’s anti-war epic All Quiet On The Western Front, which has been shortlisted in 15 categories.

The film, directed by Edward Berger and based on the 1929 novel of the same name by Erich Maria Remarque, is on both best picture and best director lists.

The black comedy-drama The Banshees Of Inisherin, starring Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson, follows close behind with 14 nominations.

The quirky sci-fi thriller Everything Everywhere All At Once and Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis biopic are included in 12 categories.

Top Gun: Maverick appears in eight categories, as do Babylon, Tar, and Aftersun.

The Baftas will be broadcast on BBC One and BBC iPlayer on February 19.
