Francis Ngannou accidentally gave Tyson Fury another indication of his prodigious strength by accidentally breaking a shop door in Las Vegas.
The Cameroon-born former UFC icon is training in Las Vegas for his upcoming blockbuster clash with heavyweight boxer Tyson Fury in Saudi Arabia, in a highly anticipated clash.
The fight will be very financially lucrative for both parties, although Fury has been outspoken in his estimates that he will earn around £164.5m from both this fight later in October, and an upcoming fight with Oleksandr Usyk combined.
However, he will be facing one of the greatest punchers in the world, and Ngannou has enlisted the help of boxing legend Mike Tyson as part of his preparation for the Gulf State showdown.
Still, Ngannou may have landed himself in a strange situation just weeks after the titanic clash when he was caught on camera accidentally smashing the door of a store in the city of Nevada.
Francis Ngannou was looking to gain entry to the shop but failed to realize it was a ‘pull’ not a ‘push’ door
The glass of the door exploded when he pushed before being assaulted by the enraged owner
All was later forgiven when the former UFC star posed with the shopkeeper after he reportedly offered to pay for the damage
Approaching the store, Ngannou looked to push open the door and enter the establishment, only to find his way blocked.
He tried again with a little more force to gain entry, but was rebuffed again, before the glass in the door’s window panes exploded and shattered to the ground, leaving the warrior visibly shocked.
He then tentatively pulled the door open to get in, stepping over the glass to be assaulted by the enraged shop owner.
Although the footage had no sound, it was clear from the shopkeeper’s body language and gestures that he was far from satisfied with the MMA superstar.
He took Ngannou outside to remonstrate with him and show him the extent of the damage, but the fighter remained calm and appeared to explain to the owner that he fully intended to pay for the damage.
This seemed to do the trick in calming down the angry owner as the two then posed for a photo together once the situation resolved itself.
Ngannou will face Fury in the ring on October 28, but judging by the overall response to his media workouts, he will be hard pressed to lay a glove on WBC heavyweight champion Fury.
“Honey, John Fury said it, if he fights like that and throws punches, it’s going to be a walkover,” Fury’s former opponent Derek Chisora told Boxing Social after watching Ngannou train.

The Cameroonian fighter will be up against that when he takes on Fury in Saudi Arabia
Ngannou was put through his paces by trainer Tyson during a media workout earlier in September
“Tyson is in camp now, he’s going to come in and knock him out because he’s got a big fight in December.”
Tyson’s father John Fury predicted it would be one of his son’s ‘fastest knockouts’ in his long fighting career, claiming it might not even go past the first three minutes.
“He won’t get out of the first round, it’s probably going to be Tyson’s fastest knockout,” claimed Fury.
‘If that’s what he’s got, God help him, he’ll be smashed.
