A Fox news host has crushed Jen Psaki in book sales, despite the former White House press secretary’s book coming out weeks earlier.
Pete Hegseth’s book ‘The War on Warriors: Behind the Betrayal of the Men who Keep us Free’ has sold 60,000 copies since its release on June 4.
By comparison, ex-Biden spokeswoman Psaki’s “Say More,” which was released on May 6, has sold fewer than 22,000 total copies to date, according to Bookscan.
Her MSNBC colleague Joy Reid’s ‘Medgar and Myrlie’ has sold 28,469 copies since its publication in early February.
And Hegseth also hammered CNN host Jake Tapper’s “All The Demons Are Here,” which sold just 15,427 copies in the eleven months it was on sale.
Hegseth’s debut hit number one on the New York Times bestseller list, his fourth time appearing on the weekly rankings.
It comes despite research from the Economist indicating that the newspaper’s iconic bestseller list is less likely to include works by conservative authors, even though it sells as many copies as other works.

The study found that books from conservative publishers are, on average, seven percentage points less likely to make the NYT bestseller list than books with comparable sales.
Hegseth’s latest title explores how changes in the armed forces have affected those in uniform and revealed a ‘profound dysfunction’ in the military.

The news anchor was an infantry major in the Army National Guard with tours in Afghanistan, Iraq and Guantánamo Bay.
He has two Bronze Stars and a Combat Infantryman Badge for his service in Iraq and Afghanistan.
He joined FOX News in 2014 as a contributor and currently co-hosts Fox & Friends alongside Will Cain and Rachel Campos-Duffy.
Hegseth’s latest book has also outsold MSNB host Joy Reid’s “Megar & Myrlier,” which has sold fewer than 30,000 copies since its release in February.
