Fox host Charissa Thompson reveals her Los Angeles home was robbed by ‘professionals’

Fox and Amazon Prime host Charissa Thompson revealed that her Los Angeles home was robbed by “professionals” in the past week.

Thompson, 41, who hosts NFL coverage on Fox and Amazon Prime’s Thursday Night Football, opened up about her emotional ordeal on her iHeart podcast with Erin Andrews, “Take it easy with Erin and Charissa.”

Thompson revealed that she was alerted to the break-in while she was out of town, which caused her to “yell.”

‘I was on the farm. I got a text in the morning that … my alarm went off at 12:15 am. And I was like, that’s weird,” Thompson said.

“I checked my cameras and sure enough, two guys ran out my front door, bags in hand, and I immediately started screaming and this felt like I felt in my stomach, holy shit, I just got robbed.

“And now it’s the panic as if you’re trying to control the other cameras, the angles, and to speed up the details. Three guys came over my back[yard]… I have a big, huge, I mean that, what is that fence? About 15 feet or whatever it is… They climbed the fence and broke the window.

“They went through the window, the alarm went off… These were professionals. They knew exactly how much time they had. They were only there for four minutes.’

She added that she felt vulnerable and unsafe in her own home, citing her previous trauma of being stalked and having her private photos hacked.

“I mean, it’s like, what else can I do to feel safe in my house?” she added.

“I talked to you on the phone, my first thing is, oh s**t, is this targeted? Is this specifically about me? Because then it brings up all of our PTSD with things like, is this related to the stalker or related to the hacker, related to other people? So anyway, I was able to sort of distract or get more comfortable talking to the neighbors about something like, this is happening, I get it. I’m not the first or the last person.’

In 2017, Thompson spoke of her horror when she saw a man undressing and taking a shower in her house – while she was upstairs.

She suffered two burglaries the following month within days of each other, leaving her to question whether her own home is “a safe place to live.”

Chilling footage of the first burglary, recorded on Thompson’s security cameras, showed two men sneaking into the lower floor of her new home.

One of the men tried to gain entry through a padlocked door, while the other, bizarrely, undressed and took a shower.

Another video showed her sitting at home an hour before the burglary took place.

Just six days after the terrifying burglary on the ground floor of her home, a friend of the TV presenter’s car was broken into while it was parked in her driveway.

In 2018, she also revealed that she had shown a stalker and was standing outside her house. The same year, someone hacked into her iCloud account and shared intimate photos of her with the public.

“I already have a problem with security because I had a stalker in my old house. I’ve been hacked. And yes, safety is my top priority. So I spend a ridiculous amount of money to feel safe. I have a German Shepherd, I have a husky,” Thompson said.

However, the former ESPN host managed to fool the robbers and mock them for using her pillowcases as bags.

She referred to her past traumas of being stalked and having her private photos hacked

“These bastards, they took my pillowcases off. To charge my shit. If you want to rob me, bring your own bag. Okay. Don’t take my pretty pillowcase. Yes, because those were Italian thread counts,” Thompson said.

‘Okay. So I walked in and thought, ‘Why are my pillows all over the place? Oh, I know because you used my pillowcase to load my shit.” And by the way, f**k you, ’cause the good stuff I’m hiding and wasn’t even around.”

Thompson filed for divorce from sports agent husband Kyle Thousand in April 2021 after two years of marriage, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.

She was rumored to have started dating Steve Cundari in August last year, but it is unclear if the pair are living together or still together.
