Sports analyst Colin Cowherd was the victim of a fake tweet from Travis Kelce earlier this week.
A social media account posing as the Kansas City Chiefs star posted a message attacking Elon Musk on the billionaire’s own website, X, after Musk shared a creepy response to Taylor Swift’s statement of support for Kamala Harris this week.
Just hours after the pop star, who has been in a relationship with the NFL player for more than a year, supported the vice president in a statement on Instagram, Musk bizarrely offered to bear her a child.
Shortly after Musk’s tweet went viral, screenshots of the Super Bowl winner’s response also began circulating.
“I’m 6’5″ and play football. The fact that I went to college, got a degree, and worked hard may escape you. I don’t play backgammon, but I do play chess. I could also turn you into a pretzel,” the post read.
This week, a fake tweet from Travis Kelce attacking Elon Musk over Taylor Swift went viral
Fox Sports host Colin Cowherd sympathized with the fraudulent post and discussed it on his show
However, the fraudulent threat was quickly debunked by social media users, who identified it as a screenshot of an old tweet from an MLB fan that had been edited and reused multiple times by other scammers on X.
But while social media sleuths easily spotted the fake posts, Cowherd was less astute.
Cowherd cited the tweet on his show this week, discussing the alleged online feud between the Chiefs star and the Tesla founder.
“I watched Elon Musk and Travis Kelce go head to head yesterday. Travis Kelce went head to head with Elon Musk on X,” the analyst said on his FS1 show, “The Herd.”
Musk raised eyebrows when he responded to Swift’s dramatic endorsement of Harris for US president.
The singer made the announcement on Instagram after last night’s debate, signing her message of support with “Taylor Swift, Childless Cat Lady” – a dig at Donald Trump’s running mate JD Vance.
But less than two hours later, Musk, a father of twelve children and previously opposed to underpopulation, made a bizarre proposal to Swift.
The Tesla boss wrote on X: ‘Fine Taylor… you win… I will give you a child and guard your cats with my life.’

The real Kelce has heard nothing of the SpaceX boss’s disturbing offer to his singer girlfriend, but others online have stood up for the “Fortnight” singer.
Rapper Azealia Banks has waded into the drama by publicly encouraging Swift, who like Musk is a billionaire, to “sue him for a ton of money.”
“No this is actual sexual harassment,” the rapper tweeted Thursday. “Taylor should show his ass and sue him for tons of money and work her way up to be the most unbeatable richest woman in the history of music.”
“Take his f***ing money, Taylorrrrrrr!!!!”
Banks continued her tirade in two follow-up tweets, expressing surprise at the thought of Swift taking over a large chunk of Musk’s $250 billion fortune.
“Put his ass in a hole sis. Lmao the pop girlies would all be such crumbs. I love this,” she wrote.
Banks then went on to drag in Kanye West, Swift’s biggest rival, by speculating that he would have “a heart attack” if Swift successfully defeated Musk.
‘lmao the heart attack Kanye is gonna have when she is ULTRA UNATTACHABLE, the level of RICH off her father Elon’s back bwahahahaha.’
She closed with: ‘CUCK THEM ALL SIS’

Musk’s post shocked even one of his most ardent supporters, Ian Miles Cheong, who responded: “My God.”
In her lengthy Instagram post, Taylor promised to “make sure she reads and educates herself on everything she can find” about Trump and Harris’ “proposed policies and plans for this country.”
She said she planned to vote for Kamala because she believed the 59-year-old “fights for rights and causes that I think need a fighter who can defend them.”
She also praised Kamala’s running mate Tim Walz for “decades of standing up for LGBTQ+ rights, IVF and women’s right to their own bodies.”
