A four-year-old boy was hit by a car and flown to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The toddler was hit in the Epsom area of the Victorian town of Bendigo at 8.35am on Wednesday morning, with the male driver of the vehicle stopping to assist at the scene.
The ‘school-going’ boy was taken by air ambulance to the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne, where his condition remains stable.
Epsom Primary School, located on the same street as the accident, confirmed that the boy is not a pupil there.
