Police responded to a Queens home on fire Sunday morning after a stabbing that left four dead, two officers injured and a 13-year-old in critical condition.
An unnamed male suspect was shot in the lower extremity during police response to the apparent stabbing — which happened at 467 Beach 22nd St in Far Rockaway just after 5 a.m.
The suspect, who is reportedly in serious condition, was taken to a local hospital, while three victims were pronounced dead at the scene during police response. A fourth person stabbed died shortly afterwards, while another three were taken to a local hospital.
Everyone, including the unnamed teenage girl, was in critical condition as of 8 a.m.
Dozens of officers remained on scene into the morning, as did firefighters who responded to a fire at the home that was first reported around 5:17 a.m. Within minutes the fire was extinguished and officers were seen removing several victims. The incident, believed to be a domestic dispute, remains under investigation.

“I heard pop pop pop,” a neighbor told amNewYork of the early morning incident, as preliminary reports indicate police shot the suspect before discovering additional victims inside the two-family home.
