The four Heisman finalists are LSU's Jayden Daniels, Ohio State's Marvin Harrison Jr., Oregon's Bo Nix and Washington's Michael Penix Jr.

The Heisman Trophy has been dominated by quarterback winners, with only two of the last thirteen not being a quarterback.
Daniels has had the momentum to be a finalist all season, but is the only player of the quartet not to have his team make a New Year's Six Bowl game.
Daniels finished the season with 3,812 passing yards, 40 passing touchdowns and four interceptions. Daniels also finished the season with 1,134 rushing yards and 10 rushing touchdowns.

Michael Penix of Washington and Bo Nix of Oregon represent half of the Heisman Trophy finalists
Harrison Jr., likely the longshot among the four to win the award, finished with 67 catches for 1,211 yards and 14 touchdowns for the Buckeyes this year. He also had one rushing touchdown this season.
Nix had 40 passing touchdowns and three interceptions with the Ducks. The Auburn transfer also tallied 4,145 passing yards.
Penix had 4,218 passing yards, for 33 touchdowns with nine interceptions.
Last year's winner, Caleb Williams, was active at USC this season and was not chosen among the finalists.
The Heisman Trophy is awarded annually to the best player in college football and is voted on by hundreds of sportswriters, past Heisman winners and one vote from fans.
