The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have returned to Fortnite through the TMNT Cowabunga event, and they bring new weapons, quests and rewards.
Us Fortnite guide will explain everything related to the heroes in a half shell, including a list of the Fortnite TMNT Cowabunga event mission schedule and all the rewards you can get.
Fortnite TMNT skins in the store
If you are just looking for the skins, then you have the store. There are skins for every brother – Leonardo, Donatello, MichelangeloAnd Raphael – together with April O’Neil and (Master) splinter. All six come with a corresponding Lego Fortnite skin.
There’s a bundle for all four turtles, the back bling, and their pickaxes for 6,400 v-bucks – currently on sale for 3,400. You can buy them all individually, bundled with their pickaxe, for 1,600 (or 1,500 for Splinter and April).
For the Shred the skinyou should look at the Cowabunga Premium Reward Track.
Fortnite Cowabunga Event Rewards Track and Premium Rewards
For the Cowabunga event you earn seep for completing quests. That ooze can then be exchanged for rewards like ninja-themed emotes, wraps and the Turtle Blimp Glider.
When you drop 1,000 v-bucks you upgrade to the Premium reward path. You get all the regular rewards plus a second set of things like backbling and pickaxes. You also immediately unlock the Shredder skin and Lego style.
Fortnite Splinter Assignment: The Ooze War mission schedule
And how do you earn ooze to unlock those rewards? By completing missions for Splinter. His plan consists of six phases and all of them are available until February 27, 2024.
- Phase 1: Stick to the shadows is out now.
- Phase 2: Get ready! goes live on February 12 at 9am ET.
- Phase 3: Cowabunga collision goes live on February 15.
- Phase 4: Give them shell goes live on February 18.
- Phase 5: Showdown Shredding goes live on February 21st.
- Phase 6: Shellebrate goes live on February 24.
There are eight missions in Phase 1, but you only need to complete five of them to get credit for the phase (and make progress toward that sweet, sweet Krang back bling). Each quest yields 300 ooze.

Ninja Turtle weapons
Each of the turtles’ iconic weapons also makes an appearance (these are real weapons, by the way, not just the pickaxes you can get at the store). You might find Leonardo’s katanas, Raphael’s Sai, Michelangelo’s NunchakuAnd Donatello’s staff in cases, supply drops and vending machines.
These weapons give you a attack, air attack, dash attackand a double jump. Each weapon starts with three charges that you need for the air and sprint attacks. Charges after 10 seconds.
