Fortnite is heading to the seven seas in July with the Pirates of the Caribbean crossover
Fortnite data miners have discovered pirates of the Caribbean as the next big crossover, and it’s coming soon.
Earlier this year, Fortnitethe roadmap for 2024 leaked and contained spoilers for a number of collaborations and crossovers planned for the battle royale game, some of which were recently released, such as the Metallica and Billie Eilish collections.
Among the leaks was a mention of Disney’s pirate franchise, pirates of the Caribbeanwhich has now been confirmed by Epic Games to arrive next month on July 19th.
Trustworthy Fortnite leaker HYPEX recently shared brand new items on X/Twitter (via Eurogamer), shows off the first look at the upcoming pirates of the Caribbean cooperation.
Through a series of posts, players will be able to purchase and unlock different skins inspired by the game’s characters. pirates of the Caribbeanincluding Jack Sparrow – along with a Skeleton variant designed after his appearance in The black pearl -Elizabeth Swann, Davy Jones and Hector Barbossa. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like Orlando Bloom’s Will Turner will be available during the crossover.

There will also be several swords available that will likely be modeled after players’ pickaxes, as well as Back Bling inspired by the Dead Man’s Chest, a Ship in the Bottle, which is described as “a cursed ship trapped in a bottle.” to unleash the ship from its ghostly depths and plunge into your opponents with a devastating crash!β
We also got a good look at a loading screen showing Jack Sparrow running away from Davy Jones.
Although HYPEX leaks claimed the crossover would arrive on July 18, Epic has since confirmed it won’t be released until July 19.
HYPEX and fellow leakerShiinaBR‘ also made players aware that the pirates of the Caribbean ‘Cursed Sails Pass’ was put on sale ahead of its set release date, but Epic Games quickly intervened and removed it from the game.
βFor players who purchased the Cursed Sails Pass before its intended release on July 19, please note that you currently cannot progress on the Pass until the beginning of the event, but will keep your Jack Sparrow outfit in the meantimeβ , Epic said via the Fortnite Status
The developer then provided instructions on how to refund their purchase and return the Outfit “as the Pass cannot yet be completed”, which can be done through the official support page.
